Hallo Herr Tischler, ersteinmal ein grossartige Sammlung die sie haben. Und nun zu meinem Anliegen. Ich war damals von 1999 bis 2001 in Büchel Stationiert. Erst als Soldat der Sicherungsstaffel und dann im Stab. Wissen sie ob ich die Patches noch irgendwo nach kaufen kann. Ich habe leider nur noch die aus meiner Grundausbildung in Budel/ Weert NL.

Echt schade das auf dieser Webseite kaum brauchbare Infos zum Flughafen Büchel / Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 33 zu finden sind. Die Webseite heißt zwar tlg33.de , man findet aber eigentlich keinerlei infos hier über das Geschwader und den Standort Büchel. Ich bin ein Planespotter und würde mal gerne wissen, ob Planespotten dort überhaupt möglich ist. Wann fliegen dort immer die Tornados und kann man da evtl. auch USAF-Maschinen (z.B. F-16 aus der Spangdahlem air base) antreffen? Darf man überhaupt in Büchel Flugzeuge aufnehmen oder ist das verboten? Weil ein Planespotter schrieb auf Youtube das er die Transall C160 letztens auf ihrer Abschiedstour beim Überflug über Büchel aufnehmen wollte, aber dann Ärger von den Feldjägern und Ortskräften dort bekam. Falls Jemand mehr dazu weiß vielen Dank für die Antwort

The Buchel airbase is really interesting, because of the US nuclear weapons, wich are stored there. I the cold war, there were serval german airbases with US nuclear weapons, but nowdays only Buchel remains. The german airforce wants to replace thier Tornados by 2030 but they cannot decide wich aircraft. The Eurofighter would be logical, but its not ready to carry the b61 so they are planning to purchase 45 F/A-18 F Super Hornet Block III (the modern version with the big screen in the cockpit) for the Taktlwg33. Thats quite special, since it then would be the only airwing without Eurofighters and all thier jets would be american. So the pilots and technical crews would be trained / learn from the USAF in the US. It would be of course really nice to see german F18, but not ideal for maintence and spare parts etc.
It would be really nice if you could find more information about the Taktlwg33 and Buchel airbase on this webside, sice its quite interesting and there arent many good soucres. For example, why is there the so called "Fliegerkaserne Brauneck" about 10km away from the Buchel base? Are all german soldiers stationed there and where live the about 100 US-soldiers, wich take care if the nuclear weapons? Are there also USAF aircraft there? Why place the housing area about 10km away from the actual airbase? This really seems very unlogical because of the distance, and time it takes to get from there to the airbase. Are there also transport aircraft such as the C17 or C5 or C130 or fly there only fighter jets?

Ive just discoverd this webside a few days ago, im also a planespotter / avation fan. It would be interesting to have more information about the actual "Luftwaffe" Base in Buchel and the aircraft. Since it is the only remaing military airport / base in Germany with nuclear weapons (B61). The buchel Airbase itself is german, but the part with the nuclear weapons is american from the USAF. So how does this concept excatly work? There seems to be a USAF-part of the base but only for the nuclear weapons and without aircraft. As far as i know, there are only Tornado jets there but there are differnt variants for differnt missions.

Hallo, was hat es mit den Bildern von der A10 und dem F16 auf der Startseite auf sich? Die sind doch gar nicht in Büchel stationiert oder? Wann war das? Und die C130 wann war die denn mal dort? Wäre interessant mal daten für solche Termine zu haben, wenn diese seltenen Flieger mal dort sind für Planespotter, um die dann zu Fotografieren.
Noch eine Frage: Was passiert nach 2030, wenn die Tornados außer Dienst gestellt werden (echt schade).
Es sollen ja dann neue Eurofighter und F18 als Ersatz kommen. Kommen die dann beide auch nach Büchel oder nur F18 wegen der Nuklearen Teilhabe, die ja zurzeit der Tornado übernimmt ? Wäre echt mal cool falls das jemand hier weiß.

Hi Michael, ich war ab April 1986
beim POL Nachschub .
Habe leider kein Aufnäher Patch von der Nr. 569
2 Patch in schw. hatte ich gekauft vom tech. Dienst, aber leider nicht von der Nr. 569.
Hätte ich gerne 2 Stck. (Nachschubstaffel 33)
Da ich noch akt. Reserviert bin, würde ich mich freuen, wenn ich 2 Stck von den Patches bekommen würde.

Ich hätte da eine Frage ich war damals selber Zeitsoldat im Jabo G33 in der Sicherungsstaffel S. Ich benötige ein oder zwei Stoffabzeichen das Gelbe Dreieck mit den Wickinger.ist es möglich mir dies zu verkaufen oder noch besser anzufertigen....bitte helfe mir weiter....tolle Sammlung meinen Respekt.
